About The Position

Own Body is seeking a mobile podiatrist to provide patient-centered care in clients’ homes. The role offers flexible hours and the choice of full-time, part-time, or casual work, with administrative and clinical support, professional development, mentorship, peer support, and a collaborative team culture. Clients include older adults, NDIS participants, and private clients. Casual team members may be paid per client session at a fixed rate inclusive of loadings and superannuation, or rostered for shifts with an hourly rate, loading, travel and administration allowance, and superannuation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Professional indemnity insurance.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Passion for patient-centered, community-based care.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopaedic experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physiotherapy to clients in the assigned area.
• Conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy.
• Help clients achieve functional independence and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Use evidence-based practice to support positive patient outcomes.
