In-Home Senior Caregiver (Flexible Hours)
About The Position
All Around Care is a licensed home care agency accredited by the Texas Health and Human Services. It provides non-medical care to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes, with a focus on dignity, respect, and each client’s individual preferences and needs. Caregivers assist with daily living and help maintain clients’ comfort, well-being, and home environment. Positions are available in Magnolia, Conroe, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Montgomery, Houston, Humble, and Cypress, Texas. Depending on caregiver and client availability, the agency offers PRN (as-needed), part-time, and full-time positions. The agency describes its work environment as warm and welcoming and offers flexible scheduling and individualized training.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Auto insurance coverage.
- Reliable transportation for commuting.
- Two caregiving references demonstrating experience and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably one year of caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and support their comfort and well-being.
- Communicate with relevant parties and provide updates about ongoing care.
- Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and pleasant living environment for clients.
- Handle equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts, and provide care for bed-bound clients.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy in interactions with clients.
- Be flexible in scheduling to accommodate varying client needs.
