About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is seeking a PRN Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner for a flexible, field-based role requiring local travel. The Mobile Examiner provides patient care and diagnostic services in clients’ homes or workplaces and may also work in company centers. The role combines exams, specimen handling, customer service, and administrative tasks, with completed exams uploaded to the company portal within 24–48 hours. Candidates should be detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, adaptable, independent, and committed to compliance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active phlebotomy or medical assistant certification, based on state requirements.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collections, and EKG administration.
• Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Motor vehicle record with no more than 2 moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Flexibility and mobility for a field-based role involving local travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces, including taking basic vital signs, recording medical histories, and performing venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Accurately label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe and timely transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
• Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case status, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory and maintain clean workspaces.
• Dispatch calls and occasionally mentor new team members.
