About The Position

Getlabs is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patients at home or in an office, collect blood and other diagnostic specimens, and provide a thoughtful patient experience. The role involves driving to appointments and delivering samples to patient service centers or laboratories. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-growing environment. The stated part-time schedule is 5 a.m.–10 a.m., Monday through Friday. Employees who have contact with patients must meet the company’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Proof of the first COVID-19 vaccine shot within 30 days of employment.
• Vaccination is required as a condition of employment for employees who have contact with patients.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes or offices and drive to and from appointments.
• Collect blood and other specimens using safe and accurate procedures, and process specimens with a high degree of accuracy.
• Drop off samples at patient service centers or laboratories.
• Adapt to a rapid-growth environment.
• Maintain close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.
• Provide friendly, empathetic, compassionate service and a high-quality patient experience.
