About The Position
Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. The role supports patients in identifying underlying conditions and maintaining their health. The position is part-time and located in Ajo, Arizona.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
- Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency.
- Collect patients’ personal information.
- Determine the appropriate venipuncture method for each patient.
- Reassure patients during the collection process.
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
- Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
