About The Position
East Side Clinical Laboratory, a leader in the medical laboratory industry and a Great Place to Work certified employer, is seeking experienced phlebotomists to join their growing mobile phlebotomy team. This team services a diverse community of patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, requiring daily travel within Rhode Island and bordering areas of Massachusetts. The role emphasizes compassionate care, independent work, and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Hands-on training and proven expertise in phlebotomy techniques
- Current phlebotomy certification
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance/registration
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between patient sites
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing schedule

Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, compassionate care while confidently performing phlebotomy procedures on patients
- Build trust and comfort with patients through strong, positive interpersonal interactions
- Accurately complete specimen labeling, scanning, and light data entry using digital systems
- Travel to nursing homes across Rhode Island to provide essential, on-site phlebotomy services
