About The Position
Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a mobile Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients who already have their kits. This position requires reliable transportation. The role does not involve centrifuging samples; the phlebotomist collects and sends them. Compensation is $30–$40 per successful blood draw, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
- Familiarity with legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize sample-collection requests based on urgency.
- Collect patients’ personal information.
- Determine the appropriate venipuncture method for each patient.
- Reassure patients during the collection process.
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
- Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
- Never send needles back with a blood draw.
