About The Position

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, is hiring a PRN, field-based Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner in Ohio. The role provides patient care and diagnostic services at clients’ homes or workplaces and may also involve working in company centers. The Mobile Examiner conducts basic examinations, manages specimens, travels locally to appointments, uses company technology to document and upload completed exams, and assists with operational tasks. The work offers flexibility and a dynamic environment, with support from management and opportunities to participate in special projects and peer mentoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification, based on state requirements.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collections, and EKG administration.
• Internet access, a computer, and a printer.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving-violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to a flexible schedule, use technology, and prioritize compliance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces.
• Take basic vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport.
• Travel locally to meet clients and provide customer service.
• Use company technology to confirm appointments, update case statuses, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours.
• Assist with inventory and maintain clean workspaces.
• Dispatch calls and occasionally mentor new team members.
