About The Position

GreenWell Health is seeking a compassionate and dependable mobile phlebotomist to provide services throughout the Reno, Nevada area. The role involves traveling to patient homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and clinics to perform blood draws, collect specimens, and support patients while maintaining safety, professionalism, and high standards of care. This is a part-time, fully mobile position scheduled three days per week, with some flexibility in the days worked. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and the role typically involves approximately 8–10 blood draws per scheduled workday. Compensation is $21.00 per hour, plus a $60 weekly driving allowance. This position is not eligible for company benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
Current phlebotomy license or certification is required (CPT, PBT, or equivalent).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Punctual attendance.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processing.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Complete any required background checks, clearances, or immunizations.

Responsibilities

Travel throughout the Reno territory to assigned patient visits.
Document patient interactions accurately using EMR systems.
Provide compassionate, professional, and respectful patient care.
Follow infection-control standards and aseptic techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Follow laboratory procedures for specimen collection, processing, and transportation.
Collect, label, process, and transport specimens accurately and safely.
Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture using proper phlebotomy techniques.
Complete approximately 8–10 blood draws per scheduled workday.
