About The Position

This is a mobile optometry position covering the Orlando to Ocala, FL area. The role focuses solely on geriatric care, providing essential eye health services to seniors in assisted living facilities. The position involves a high percentage of medical optometry, allowing for full utilization of clinical skills. The workdays are efficient, typically 3-5 hours long, with 12-18 patients seen per day. Travel time is generally up to 1 hour each way. The role offers flexibility, with the option to start with 2-3 days per week and increase to 4-5 days for full-time if desired. There are no weekends or holidays, and no work is scheduled during the last two weeks of the year. The position offers significant earning potential, with the possibility to earn up to $2,000 per day (40% of collections). Technician support and mobile handheld equipment are provided.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Optometrist in the State of Florida (or have an active license application in process).
• Must provide your own car, laptop, and phone.
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license.
