MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dedicated professionals to join our growing Mobile MRI Team. As a member of our mobile team, you'll bring high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region while enjoying unique rewards, including competitive compensation plus weekend differentials of up to $15 per hour, mileage reimbursement at the federal reimbursement rate, sign-on bonus eligibility, the opportunity to work across multiple locations and expand your experience, and 12-hour and 10-hour shifts. This role will support mobile MRI operations in the Asheville market, serving multiple healthcare facilities throughout the region as needed.

Requirements

High School or GED required
Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required
Minimum of one year of experience in MR required
Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) required
IV Credentialed required
Applicable state license required
Well versed in MRI safety issues such as medical prosthetics and implants as well as general magnet care and safety.
Ensure patient safety including pre- screening.
Cultivate and maintain effective communication with customers and radiologist.
Capable of troubleshooting the scanner, coach and peripheral equipment as to insure we provide only the highest quality of MRI studies.
May be called on to train and mentor new technologist and Radiology Operations Assistants.
Required flexibility with schedule changes.
Travel is regularly required.
Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability and basic computer skills.
Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Travels with the mobile MRI truck and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
