About The Position

Citadel Roofing and Solar is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to service and maintain their fleet of forklifts, reach lifts, and other equipment. This is a full-time position based in Vacaville, with travel required throughout Northern California to wherever the equipment needs service. The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment troubleshooting and enjoy the freedom of working in different locations daily.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks, like lifting heavy equipment or working in uncomfortable positions for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel independently.
• The ability to explain complex mechanical issues in layman's terms.
• A problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Equipment troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations to perform on-site routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively, providing detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
• Mechanic tasks may entail oil changes, filter replacements, etc.
• Maintain the company's equipment and van, keeping it in excellent working condition and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions to management.
