About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Sparks, NV. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing Heavy Duty trucks and other equipment. You will be responsible for repairing and/or replacing defective parts, components, or systems, and testing equipment after repairs to ensure complete operation. The position requires travel to various remote sites to perform field repairs and/or Preventative Maintenance on internal and external trucks. You will also be responsible for documenting repair processes and supplies used on work orders, and performing occasional welding on equipment as needed.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Heavy Duty truck applications
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in heavy duty equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver license
• Ability to use multiple scanning tools for diagnostics.
• Ability to use and interpret technical manuals.
• Ability to work alone.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a technical certification program for mobile heavy equipment repair
• Mobile mechanic experience
• Supervisory experience

Responsibilities
