About The Position

As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of institutional facilities across an assigned territory. Working with the Operations Manager and maintenance team, you will perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and building system upkeep in support of daily operations and community activities. This mobile role involves travel between multiple sites and responding to work orders while maintaining high service standards. Work covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building systems. The position requires technical versatility, problem-solving skills, independent work, and availability for after-hours emergency response when needed. A 24/7 on-call rotation is required. The position is on-site at locations in Allen, Texas; McKinney, Texas; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Overnight travel may be required to support facilities in extended geographic territories, including Norman, Oklahoma, and Northwest Texas. The role does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant trade certifications as required by client scope or local jurisdiction.
At least 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and ability to safely drive company vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions, including long-distance travel throughout the designated portfolio.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems; HVAC knowledge as required by client scope.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with computerized work order systems (CMMS) and basic tablet or mobile device applications.
Commitment to meeting service-level agreements, response-time standards, and safety procedures.
Ability to lift at least 80 pounds and use ladders up to 30 feet.
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally with clients.

Availability for overnight travel when required to support facilities in extended geographic territories, including Norman, Oklahoma, and Northwest Texas.

Responsibilities

Perform minor plumbing repairs, including resolving leaks, maintaining fixtures, and clearing clogs.
Conduct electrical repairs, including replacing switches, outlets, and receptacles, and maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures.
Complete carpentry work, including door adjustments, hardware installation, cabinetry repairs, wall patching, and interior and exterior painting.
Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting, including thermostat adjustments, filter replacements, and resolving simple temperature or airflow issues as directed.
Process and complete work orders through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), meeting service-level agreements and response-time requirements.
Conduct facility inspections and preventive maintenance, identify issues requiring contractor involvement, and report conditions affecting client operations.
Coordinate daily service routes among multiple facilities using provided reports and systems to improve efficiency and response time.
Keep assigned company vehicles clean and safe, and operate them safely throughout the assigned territory.
Remove snow and ice, clear debris or hazards, and maintain safe building access at assigned facilities.
Document maintenance activities, work performance, and materials usage; keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and compliant.
Participate in a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule and provide after-hours emergency response when needed.
