About The Position

OPS Security Group is seeking a professional and reliable Loss Prevention Officer to provide security coverage at multiple client locations, including Cherry Hill, Marlton, and Princeton. The position requires travel between sites and the ability to adapt to different environments while maintaining a professional security presence.

Plain-clothes loss prevention officers work covertly in retail environments, posing as ordinary shoppers to observe and identify theft, fraud, and internal shrinkage without alerting potential offenders. Their primary function is to detect and apprehend individuals engaged in shoplifting or employee theft, gather evidence, and liaise with law enforcement as needed. Officers must exercise strong observational skills and sound judgment, and understand apprehension procedures and legal compliance.

This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on operational needs. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and workdays may be Monday through Sunday. SORA certification is required.
