About The Position

The Overnight Loss Prevention Officer plays a critical role in protecting guests, associates, members, and resort property during overnight hours. This position is responsible for conducting patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, and maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the resort. The Overnight Loss Prevention Officer helps protect a diverse resort environment, including guest accommodations, recreational facilities, restaurants, marina operations, event spaces, parking areas, and common areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas Private Security License.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, emergency response, or a related field.
• Experience working in hospitality, resort, residential, or large-property environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the resort property to identify and address security or safety concerns.
• Monitor surveillance systems and serve as the central communication point for overnight operations.
• Respond to medical emergencies, security incidents, safety hazards, and guest or associate assistance requests.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary and coordinate with EMS, fire, or law enforcement personnel.
• Investigate incidents and complete accurate, detailed reports.
• Perform safety inspections of fire exits, lighting, alarms, and security equipment.
• Respond to incidents across resort facilities, including lodging areas, recreational amenities, marina operations, event spaces, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Maintain key control procedures and process lost-and-found items.
• Complete required administrative duties, including report filing and data entry.
• Enforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
