About The Position

AB Facility Services (ABFS) is seeking a skilled Mobile Handyman / Maintenance Technician to travel between client sites in the Philadelphia, PA area and independently complete maintenance tickets. The role involves hands-on carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs, while documenting work and materials, communicating professionally with clients, and following safety procedures. The description also refers to travel throughout the DMV area.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of handyman, commercial maintenance, or skilled trades experience.
Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel between multiple client locations throughout the DMV area.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Technical training preferred.
Commercial building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel to client sites to complete maintenance work orders.
Perform carpentry repairs, including drywall patching, door repairs, shelving, and hardware installation.
Complete painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and finishing.
Perform plumbing repairs involving leaks, faucets, toilets, and fixtures.
Complete basic electrical repairs within applicable licensing and safety requirements.
Document completed work and materials through the company's ticketing system.
Communicate professionally with clients and escalate repairs requiring specialized contractors.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
