About The Position

Safety-driven operator with hands-on experience running mobile cranes, magnet cranes, and shears to process and move scrap materials efficiently. I support daily yard operations by loading and unloading trucks and railcars, preparing scrap to spec, and maintaining equipment through inspections and preventive maintenance. Known for strong teamwork, problem-solving, and a commitment to Gerdau’s safety, environmental, and core values.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience running mobile cranes, magnet cranes, and shears
• Scrap processing and grading
• Equipment inspection & preventive maintenance
• Yard logistics & material handling
• Safety & environmental compliance
• Team collaboration and continuous improvement
• High School Education/GED preferred
• Desire to enhance skills and knowledge to develop as a Gerdau employee
• Promote and practice the core values of Gerdau
