Requirements

  • Requires the ability to read & write.
  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Ability to successfully pass a written exam and physical observation test for an Industrial Truck Permit.
  • The ability to adjust to changing job functions.
  • Capable of working well with co-workers of different cultural backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for actively supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives of the facility.
  • Drive Forklift and/or other industrial equipment.
  • Must understand and adhere to all requirements of the Company’s Powered Industrial Truck Program.
  • Keep accurate and precise counts on material loaded, unloaded, or moved.
  • Operate a handheld scan gun to track material movement and location.
  • Load/unload trucks.
  • Move material to corresponding departments.
  • Mop, sweep, clean all areas assigned.
  • Notify Supervisor or Lead Person of needed items.
  • Visually inspect parts.
  • Accurately measure or weight parts as required.
  • Band material with a manual or electric bander.
  • Assist other departments when needed.
  • Must maintain general housekeeping and an orderly work area.
  • Responsible for all other procedures and instructions as required by the job function.
  • Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
  • Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime.
  • All other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Lead Person, or any member of Management.
