About The Position

Prysmian is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic proficient in Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic skills for diagnosing and repairing LP and Electric Forklifts, along with other common industrial mobile equipment. The role requires basic skills and preferred knowledge of Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts, and Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology. The candidate will need to possess their own complete set of tools for repairing the mentioned equipment, with the exception of some specialty tools. Experience with electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, Mercury tug tractors, and small gasoline/propane/NG engines is also preferred. Fleet experience and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience are helpful.

Requirements

Proficiency in Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic skills.
Basic skills with knowledge preferred on both Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts.
Basic skills with knowledge preferred on Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology.
Must have own complete set of tools to repair the mentioned equipment, with the exception of some specialty tools.
Dealership or industrial experience preferred; other experience will be considered.

Experience with Capacity yard tractors.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair LP and Electric Forklifts.
Diagnose and repair other common industrial mobile equipment including electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, and Mercury tug tractors.
Perform repairs on Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts.
Perform repairs on Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology.
Work with small gasoline/propane/NG engines.
