About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role performs inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. The mechanic will also complete preventive maintenance tasks, document work performed, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Collaboration with operations teams to prioritize equipment needs and maintaining tools, work areas, and equipment in clean and safe condition are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Demonstrated capability in diagnosing and repairing mobile equipment systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize equipment needs.
• Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in clean and safe condition.
