The Mobile Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the safe, environmentally sound and efficient daily operation of the facility and mobile equipment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years diesel vehicle and/or heavy equipment maintenance experience, or two years of mechanical trade school training and two years’ experience as a vehicle and heavy equipment mechanic.
  • Must be able to operate mobile equipment such as front-end loader and tractor/trailer for diagnosis purposes.
  • Current valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialize in clutch work or hydraulics a plus.
  • CDL license is a plus.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or Diesel certifications preferred in areas of knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hydraulic systems repair and diagnostics.
  • Regen system repair and diagnostics (exhaust).
  • Air brake system repair and diagnostic.
  • Good work ethic, self-motivation, honesty, and efficiency.
  • Work order completion, safe work permit accuracy.
  • OTJ performance review.
  • Use of efficiency with electronic/computer diagnostic tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or overhaul on mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
