The Mobile Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the safe, environmentally sound and efficient daily operation of the facility and mobile equipment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years diesel vehicle and/or heavy equipment maintenance experience, or two years of mechanical trade school training and two years’ experience as a vehicle and heavy equipment mechanic.
Must be able to operate mobile equipment such as front-end loader and tractor/trailer for diagnosis purposes.
Current valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Specialize in clutch work or hydraulics a plus.
CDL license is a plus.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or Diesel certifications preferred in areas of knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

Hydraulic systems repair and diagnostics.
Regen system repair and diagnostics (exhaust).
Air brake system repair and diagnostic.
Good work ethic, self-motivation, honesty, and efficiency.
Work order completion, safe work permit accuracy.
OTJ performance review.
Use of efficiency with electronic/computer diagnostic tools.
Adjust, repair, or overhaul on mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
