About The Position

The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing LP and Electric Forklifts, along with other common industrial mobile equipment. This role requires proficiency in Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic skills. Experience with specific brands like Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts, and Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology is preferred. The mechanic will also need to have their own complete set of tools for repairs, with the exception of some specialty tools. Experience with electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, Mercury tug tractors, and small gasoline/propane/NG engines is also preferred. Fleet experience and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are helpful.

Requirements

Proficiency in Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic skills.
Basic skills with knowledge preferred on both Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts.
Knowledge of Raymond Electric Reach Trucks using AC motor technology.
Must have own complete set of tools for repair (with exception of some specialty tools).
Dealership or industrial experience preferred; other experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, Mercury tug tractors.
Experience with small gasoline/propane/NG engines.
Fleet experience.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing LP and Electric Forklifts.
Repairing other common industrial mobile equipment including electric golf carts, sweepers/scrubbers, box and flatbed trailers, Capacity yard tractors, and Mercury tug tractors.
Performing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs.
Utilizing knowledge of Cat and Mitsubishi LP forklifts and Raymond Electric Reach Trucks with AC motor technology.
Working with small gasoline/propane/NG engines.
