About The Position

Rogers Group, headquartered in Nashville, TN is a 115-year-old privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company with quarry and asphalt construction operations in ten states with 3,500 employees. The company has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held crushed stone producer in the United States. Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill a position as a Maintenance Worker for East Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for performing fixed plant repairs, recommending plant improvements, diagnosing, and repairing mobile heavy equipment, and assisting with various production duties as needed. Wages are dependent on experience! The successful candidate for this role will have a strong emphasis on safety, be a self-starter and willing to learn new tasks, will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Have problem solving mindset, understanding how to repair and prevent or prolong
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred but not necessary
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform basic plant repairs as needed
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment maintenance manuals
  • Ability to operate a man lift, telehandler, skid steer
  • Experience in welding, cutting Preferred

  • General inspection of crushing plant equipment
