This Mobile role is based in San Antonio, Texas. Valid Drivers License is required. The Mobile Engineer will perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s). This includes maintaining heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems. The role involves monitoring and adjusting mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment to ensure a comfortable environment. Responsibilities also include verifying field conditions, performing necessary repairs or adjustments, monitoring energy management, and repairing doors, ceilings, hand railings, and floors. Preventive maintenance duties in accordance with C&W standards, building protocol, manufacturer recommendations, and industry best practices are essential. This includes changing filters, cleaning coils, flushing condensers, punching tubes, greasing bearings, inspecting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning pulleys and shafts, monitoring chemical treatment, cleaning cooling towers, and performing annual inspections. The role also requires inspecting engine room equipment, fan room equipment, cooling towers, motors, pumps, electric rooms, generators, and fire/sump/ejector pumps. Replacing lamps, light fixtures, signage, and ensuring rooms are clear of obstructions are also part of the duties. Checking emergency exit signs and lights, ensuring clear access to emergency stairs, and performing fire and life safety inspections are critical. The position requires documenting and reporting activities, responding immediately to emergencies, and complying with all applicable codes, regulations, and directives. Safety training and adherence to the C&W Uniform Dress Code are mandatory.
