Mobile Diesel Technician
About The Position
Thermo King Northeast is hiring full-time Mobile Diesel Technicians in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Technicians work remotely from a company truck and service the surrounding area. DeVivo Companies provides transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions, including fleet maintenance, commercial bus sales, and parts operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Technicians follow technical and administrative processes, document repairs and parts usage, communicate with supervisors, team members, and customers, and stay current with technical and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
- Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
- Proficiency with computer operation and usage.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
- Follow established technical and administrative processes.
- Complete repair orders and parts usage forms.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
- Remain current on technical and regulatory requirements.
