About The Position

Thermo King Northeast is hiring full-time Mobile Diesel Technicians in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Technicians work remotely from a company truck and service the surrounding area. The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, along with completing service documentation and communicating with supervisors, teammates, and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficiency with computer operation and usage.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
• Remain current on technical and regulatory requirements.
