About The Position

The Mobile Maintenance Technician travels to customer facilities or distribution centers in a fully equipped mobile service unit to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role provides accurate, efficient, professional, and accommodating service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, helping return travelers to the road in better condition. The technician also learns the products and services offered, follows Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs, makes recommendations to customers, and follows safety guidelines. Work may involve outdoor conditions in all seasons, loud noise, fumes, particles, vibration, mechanical parts, and exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, gas, and concentrated cleaning solutions.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to work in interior and exterior conditions.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to pass an annual DOT physical examination.
