Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, and light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics. This role involves performing more advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuing to learn advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic techniques, and complying with all company policies to achieve high performance metrics. The technician will work in a mobile/field environment, performing maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. This position requires the ability to manage parts inventory, operate a company-issued service vehicle, and work independently to manage the daily schedule. Documentation of work performed, parts used, and findings is crucial, utilizing company-issued iOS devices and proprietary software. Compliance with organizational safety, health, and environmental policies, as well as federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT), is mandatory.
