About The Position

The Endpoint MDM Deployment Contractor will support the County’s Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) team and the Evergreen Refresh initiative. The role focuses on securely and efficiently deploying mobile devices to County end users and serving as the first line of support for County-issued mobile devices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with mobile device deployment and configuration, including iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, or similar.
• Ability to provide effective end-user support with strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing device scheduling, tracking, and handoffs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to IT security practices.
• Three years of experience is listed for each of the required skills and experience areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with large-scale device deployment projects.
• Familiarity with device lifecycle management and e-cycling processes.
• Hands-on experience with mobile device deployment and configuration, including iOS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up mobile devices in alignment with the County’s Evergreen Refresh program.
• Coordinate mobile device deployments to County end users, including scheduling, logistics, and user handoff.
• Receive, process, and track old devices for secure e-cycling and disposal according to County policy.
• Provide first-level support for break/fix issues, troubleshooting, and inquiries related to County-issued mobile devices.
• Collaborate with the Unified Endpoint Management team to ensure successful device transitions with minimal disruption to County operations.
• Maintain accurate deployment, inventory, and support documentation.
• Ensure compliance with County IT security standards and best practices during deployment and support activities.
