About The Position

HealthDrive is seeking a part-time Mobile Dentist to provide geriatric dental care in the greater Corpus Christi, Texas area. The role serves residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities. HealthDrive provides a dental assistant and concierge support from its dentist provider support team. Dentists provide mobile routine and restorative care, with flexibility to guide the desired number of patients per day. The posting offers a minimum of $800 per day and a $4,000 sign-on bonus for part-time providers working two days per week.

Requirements

• Dental background with proficiency in assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of dental care.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to use EMR, text, email, and the internet, and to learn other healthcare-related software.
• Self-starter attitude and desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care.
• D.D.S. or D.M.D.
• Current state professional license.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive significant distances on occasion.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift.
• Ability to transport mobile dental equipment weighing up to 15 lbs.
• May occasionally be required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and regular dental care.
• Provide examinations, restorative care, routine extractions, denture fabrications, relines, and repairs.
• Complete required patient and clinical documentation in the proprietary electronic medical record system.
• Apply proper coding guidelines and enter appropriate billing codes for services provided.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for patient care, disposal of materials, and equipment sterilization.
• Travel to patient care locations within the specified service area.
