About The Position

Immediate openings for Full time and Part time shifts in Richmond County and surrounding areas. YOU MUST BE LICENSED IN MENTAL HEALTH TO BE CONSIDERED. Please make sure to submit a current resume, cover letter (optional) and three (3) professional references, which is required. Available Shifts: Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 4pm (FT 40hrs) Monday to Thursday 12pm to 8pm (FT 32 hours) Wednesday and Friday 3pm to 1am (PT 20hrs) Candidates must meet job and residency requirements for this role. Valid driver’s license, & reliable transportation. Position Overview: Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required. Please note we are a paperless environment/workplace.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
  • Valid CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately.
  • Ability to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.
  • Ability to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.
  • Ability to drive in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.
