LMSW/LMHC - Mobile Crisis Counselors with 3-day work week
About The Position
Crisis Services is hiring Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors for a full-time position with a 3-day work week and full-time benefits. This role involves providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency mental health situations within the community. The primary goals are client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and aims to protect time outside of work. Crisis Services is a 24-hour comprehensive crisis center and community resource dedicated to saving lives through intervention, education, prevention, and community collaboration.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- Licensure/permit or permit-eligibility in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a mental health or human service setting.
- A valid NYS driver’s license.
- Access to a usable vehicle.
- Self-direction, creativity, and motivation.
