About The Position
United Plastic Fabricating (UPF), a family-owned company since 1986, is seeking mechanically inclined individuals or those who enjoy hands-on hobbies to learn a new skill as a Plastic Welder. UPF are innovators of plastic products for the fire, truck, and industrial markets, ensuring all products are designed and fabricated to customer needs with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness. They are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and drive, providing the necessary knowledge and support. Employees take pride in manufacturing products for the fire, trucking, and industrial markets.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Team Player
- A Yearning for Continuous Improvement
- Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, reaching or bending
- Physical effort/lifting - up to 10 pounds; light - up to 20 pounds
Responsibilities
- Performs Plastic Welding Operations on Product
- Assemble Products by Blueprint
- Performs a Variety of Duties, including but not limited to Inspection, Layout and Assembly

- 12 Hour Days, 36 Total Hours (some overtime available during the week) with 12% differential
