About The Position

Bristol Waste Company is seeking a part-time Mobile Cleaning Operative to carry out cleaning duties at various locations across Bristol. A company van is provided. The role supports the company’s work to keep Bristol clean and safe and deliver services to residents, workers, visitors, businesses, and organisations. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail and good verbal communication, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. A DBS check and driving licence may be required. Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, though training may be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proven track record of working safely and lawfully and complying with legal requirements.
A driving licence and DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

Carry out general cleaning and related domestic duties to achieve a safe, clean, and hygienic environment.
Clean at all levels, including low-level and high-level areas as required.
Undertake industrial cleaning, mopping, hoovering, and use chemical solutions.
Work safely and in compliance with relevant legal requirements.
