About The Position

Merakey is seeking a full-time Mobile Certified Recovery Specialist to join their Adult Behavioral Health program in Philadelphia, PA. This role is part of a pioneering Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative in the Kensington area, offering services like substance use treatment, primary care, crisis response, and court support. The position involves street-level engagement and connecting individuals to recovery and stability through evidence-based care. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm, with a pay rate of $24.35/hr. The Mobile Certified Recovery Specialist will provide recovery support services for clients receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT), and non-MAT services. This role requires working within the Kensington community and between Merakey's Parkside programs, including client engagement and transportation to treatment services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Certified as a Recovery Specialist (CRS) in Pennsylvania.
• Active and unrestricted driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year experience working with persons in recovery (PIR) preferred.
• Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) will be considered, provided a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification is obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery support services for clients receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT), and non-MAT services.
• Work within the Kensington, Philadelphia community and between the Parkside brick and mortar programs.
• Engage clients and provide transportation to treatment services.
