About The Position

The Mobile Associate supports retail operations by engaging customers and helping meet their technology and service needs in a fast-paced environment. The role builds product knowledge, demonstrates technology solutions, and assists customers throughout their shopping journey. It develops skills in customer interaction, digital tool usage, and service plan recommendations. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and effective use of digital resources. The work enhances the customer experience and supports organizational goals by fostering customer relationships and loyalty. During the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After training, they promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target. The position is paid hourly, with incentives varying by performance and full-time status. All T-Mobile employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and are eligible for an annual stock grant.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Required skills: change agility, communication, customer problem solving, customer service, engaging people, multitasking, sales, and teamwork orientation.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Six months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop proficiency in customer service and sales to deliver personalized technology and service solutions that meet individual needs.
Use digital tools to demonstrate network coverage, service plans, and product features, improving customer understanding and engagement.
Complete required training to build knowledge of retail processes, systems, and wireless technology innovations.
Collaborate with colleagues across channels to support a seamless customer experience and contribute to team initiatives.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
