About The Position

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Assessor to provide mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and hospitals. The role evaluates patients’ risk factors, recommends an appropriate level of treatment, and triages patients to suitable services. Behavioral Health Connections provides crisis mental health evaluations to people of all ages around the clock, including holidays, and connects patients with appropriate care.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
Current state license as an LPC or LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or RN.
Current CPR certification if required by the customer hospital.
Valid driver’s license.
Completion of an appropriate internship that included individual, group, or family therapy/counseling.
Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling.

Complete Memorandum of Transfer documentation.
Recommend an appropriate level of treatment based on assessment of patient risk factors.
Triage patients to appropriate services.
