About The Position

The Mobile Advisor enforces laws, rules, and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department. The role includes alarm response and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect people and property from theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, suspicious activity, and other unusual conditions. The Mobile Advisor also provides vehicle transportation support under supervisor direction and in accordance with government, corporate, and management directives. The position assists visitors, students, and staff and performs building security and safety checks. This is an on-call position of up to 29 hours per week on the night shift, at an hourly rate of $17.20. The position is at David Carrasco Job Corps in El Paso, Texas.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Pass a drug screen in compliance with the Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check is required for employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a security department, law enforcement agency, or performing security duties.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
