About The Position

Mobile ADC Attendant is responsible for accepting, pre-sorting, and loading donated goods at various Attended Donation Centers while providing exceptional customer service to our donors and customers.

Requirements

  • Clean driving record and a valid driver license are required.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel across multiple locations.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule to support business demands.
  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Hands on experience with POS transactions.
  • Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in both a climate and non-climate-controlled facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
  • The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check. This may include verification of employment history, education, criminal background, and other information relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

  • The Mobile ADC Attendant will be based out of Shadow Glen ADC but will fill in at McNeil ADC and Riverplace ADC as needed.
  • Greet every customer with warmth and professionalism—inside, outside, or over the phone.
  • Open and close the store location and ensure all doors, money and credit card receipts are secured.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and shoppers.
  • Assist donors at donation drop-offs and offer donation receipts. Then presort, and place donations in proper containers.
  • Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Accurately record the donations on the donation count list.
  • Accurately complete store report and report sales daily.
  • Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently at the register.
  • Verifies accuracy of the truck/trailer seals on doors and equipment manifest.
  • Other duties as assigned.
