MLB Content Writer (Contract)
About The Position
FanSided is looking to add new contributors to join our MLB coverage team. We are currently seeking fans who want to share their unparalleled knowledge of specific MLB teams, especially during the Hot Stove season. This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers to gain experience creating content about their favorite MLB teams on a first-class platform with a growing audience and support for learning and development. Contributors have the flexibility to write about topics they are passionate about on a schedule that fits their daily lives, with the freedom to write as often as they wish.
Requirements
- Ability to write clearly and effectively in English.
- Must be a fan with knowledge of one of the specified MLB teams (Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Guardians, Detroit Tigers, Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Washington Nationals).
Responsibilities
- Write a minimum of one (1) article per calendar month.
- Pitch topic ideas before writing to ensure no conflict with similar articles.
- Explore and develop their voices as writers, trying new things.
- Write clearly and effectively in English.
