About The Position
Infi Robotics is a robotics-native contract manufacturer helping hardware companies move products from prototype to production at its San Francisco Bay Area factory. Its initial focus is automated assembly for robots, drones, and other intelligent hardware. The company’s mission is to build a general-purpose, fully autonomous factory to support physical abundance and reindustrialize America. The ML Software Engineer will build learning systems and software that convert human assembly expertise into robot capabilities. This includes developing the path from demonstrations and production data to trained policies, along with tools for collecting data, evaluating robot behavior, and shipping improvements. The role involves applying strong software foundations and testing ideas in the physical world. The engineer will own foundational projects across robotics, machine learning, the factory floor, and initial customer programs, and contribute to shaping the company’s direction and pace.
