About The Position

The Mixer Operator ensures proper preparation of doughs according to formula and scheduled standards. The position requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality. The operator scales ingredients and controls mixing time and temperature to maintain consistency and production flow, records required mixing data, and keeps work areas clean. The role also involves following company policies and procedures, fulfilling work schedules, and performing other duties as directed by supervision or management.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information necessary for the job.
One or more years of production experience as a helper is preferred.
Six months of basic knowledge of mixer procedures and mixer operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare dough according to formulas and scheduled standards.
Ensure consistency of doughs through proper scaling and control of time and temperature according to production standards.
Mix dough efficiently and deliver it to dividers on time to maintain the production schedule and flow.
Record dough temperatures, mixing times, and other required data.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety, work rules, EEO, sexual harassment, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Fulfill work schedules and comply with attendance policies and other applicable operating rules and procedures.
Perform other duties as directed by supervision or management.
