About The Position

Catlett Animal Hospital located in Catlett, VA is searching for a compassionate and experienced Mixed Animal Veterinarian for our practice. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care while strengthening the human-animal bond. As a mixed animal practice, we view ourselves as "family doctors" for our patients and their owners. We are committed to educating clients, emphasizing preventive medicine, and delivering personalized, high-quality care. On the large animal side, we partner closely with producers to provide valuable consultation services and implement the latest herd health protocols. Our caseload includes: 50% Small Animal, 30% Equine, 10% Porcine, 10% Cattle (ambulatory only).

Requirements

Compassionate and experienced Mixed Animal Veterinarian.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia.
Experience with small animal, equine, and large animal (porcine, cattle) medicine.
Ability to perform ambulatory services for cattle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to client education and preventive medicine.

Nice To Haves

Experience with herd health protocols.
