Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use basic shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and write.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mixes a good quality product according to mix procedures.
• Must have knowledge of ingredients per mix formulations.
• Checks for proper weights, lot numbers and manufacturers.
• Records information accurately on batch sheets.
• Checks off ingredients on mix sheet as they are being used.
• Makes adjustments to batch to achieve proper pH, fats, solids, etc.
• Encourages safe work practices.
• Follows GMP policy.
• Operates forklift.
• Helps batch person weigh ingredients for the next day’s production.
• Keeps mix room clear.
• Unloads oil, sugar, and corn syrup trucks.
• Pulls samples for quality control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Keep detailed and accurate records.
