The Mito National Lead - Disease Strategy & Field Engagement will advance understanding of ultra-rare mitochondrial diseases, including TK2 deficiency, in a landscape where patients often go years without answers. This will help close that gap by equipping clinicians with clear, meaningful education and by supporting multidisciplinary teams in recognizing ultra-rare mitochondrial diseases earlier. Through engagement, insight generation, and strategic agility, the Mito National Lead – Disease Strategy & Field Engagement will strengthen UCB’s ability to reach underserved populations, expand awareness across various specialties and multidisciplinary teams, and enable more informed pathways to evaluation and care. The Mito National Lead – Disease Strategy & Field Engagement role requires strong clinical acumen, focused field execution, and close collaboration with cross-functional partners. This is a fully field-based position with frequent travel.
