About The Position
Paul Davis Restoration is seeking an entry-level Mitigation Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role helps homeowners restore their homes and peace of mind after water, fire, or mold damage. Technicians work as part of a team, learn restoration skills, and support customers during difficult situations. Work is performed under supervision and includes restoration and cleanup services, customer service, equipment and vehicle upkeep, and warehouse or facility support. The position includes an on-call schedule and may require work at night, on weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
- Ability to lift 75 or more pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12 or more hours per day.
- Ability to work in potentially extreme weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform restoration and cleanup services under supervision, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment.
- Assist with setting up equipment and temporary structures and preparing materials for removal.
- Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job.
- Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed.
- Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
- Communicate with empathy and a sense of urgency using modern technology.
- Complete projects such as mitigating flood and fire damage with care and pride.
