About The Position

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida has a fantastic opportunity available for a Mission Delivery Manager. If you enjoy variety, can move confidently between different types of work, and love turning plans into action, this may be the role for you! As a Mission Delivery Manager, you will lead and support high-priority projects, programs, campaigns, events, and initiatives across Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. You will be assigned to different Council priorities throughout the year based on organizational needs and seasonal demands, as well as your individual strengths and experience. From planning through execution, you will coordinate people and resources, manage timelines and logistics, track progress, solve problems, and help ensure every detail comes together successfully. Reporting to the Director of Mission Delivery, you will work across departments and develop a broad knowledge of Council operations. You will be expected to learn quickly, adapt to changing assignments, build strong working relationships, and bring your skills to different kinds of mission-focused work throughout the year. As a Mission Delivery Manager, you will also represent Girl Scouts throughout our communities (from Sebastian to Miramar), building relationships with girls, families, volunteers, schools, community organizations, and other partners. Whether you are supporting a recruitment campaign, coordinating a girl experience, working an event, or leading a Council initiative, your focus will be on creating a high-quality experience and achieving measurable results.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to learn and effectively use CRM, registration, project-management, reporting, and other technology platforms
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in one or more areas such as program or event management, community engagement, membership or customer acquisition, recruitment, business development, or project management
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Council's service area
  • Work in a variety of settings, including offices, schools, community locations, outdoor environments, programs, and events
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Eligibility for coverage under applicable Council insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems is preferred
  • Experience working with youth-serving, community-based, educational, membership, or nonprofit organizations is strongly preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, or another language commonly spoken within our service area is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating operations for a signature event (i.e. Mall Madness, STEAMapalooza, Rock the Noc)
  • Supporting membership recruitment or troop formation at a local school
  • Developing and delivering girl programming
  • Scheduling volunteers

  • Supporting Product Program initiatives, including the Cookie Sale
  • Working with summer camp
