About The Position

Rinvio is hiring a Mission Critical Project Engineer for data center MEP project engineering and field coordination in the Phoenix, AZ market. This is a full-time, contract role focused on mission-critical construction. The engineer will support project managers and field teams with MEP-heavy data center construction execution, track various project documentation, and coordinate with multiple teams. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Mission-critical, data center, commercial MEP, electrical, mechanical, or critical infrastructure construction exposure
Project engineering, field engineering, assistant project management, or coordinator experience on technical builds
Ability to read drawings/specifications and track RFIs, submittals, changes, issues, and documentation
Strong organization, communication, and follow-through in a fast-moving construction environment
Ability to work in the Phoenix, AZ market and complete any site onboarding requirements
Dependable, safety-minded, commercially aware, and comfortable in fast-moving project environments

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with MEP systems, commissioning milestones, NEC/NFPA concepts, and project controls is preferred

Responsibilities

Support project managers and field teams with MEP-heavy data center construction execution
Track RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, procurement items, change documentation, and field issues
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, commissioning, QA/QC, and subcontractor teams
Help maintain schedules, progress tracking, punch lists, commissioning readiness, and turnover documentation
Communicate clearly with project stakeholders and keep technical documentation organized
