About The Position

Texas Health is hiring for a Mission Control role at Texas Health Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas. The position is PRN and works days. The role supports hospital operations by transporting patients and delivering or collecting equipment, supplies, mail, and other items. It also involves maintaining supply levels and cleaning equipment in designated areas while following universal precautions.

Requirements

BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification is required before providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.
Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Proactive problem-solving skills; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of related experience preferred, or six months of customer-service experience preferred.
Knowledge of Windows/PCs is helpful.

Responsibilities

Transport patients using the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services, and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
Maintain par levels and clean equipment in designated areas.
Adhere to the Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
Accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
